Nature: A Quick Mental Refresh

Quarantine is winding down, but it's still important to keep your mind healthy. Spending time in nature is a great way to do just that. It a beautiful refresh of the mind, body and soul.

I stumbled across this quick slide show from Inverse and I loved the vibe.

A few key points from their site I'd like to highlight:

  • studies have shown that air pollution can make us unhappy

  • exposure to nature can help reduce rumination

  • doctors around the world are starting to prescribe 'exposure to nature' instead of pills

  • roughly 17 minutes outside in nature per day can help with your mental health

Get out. Go for a hike or a walk or a bike ride. Go alone. Go with friends. Go camping. Just get outside and recharge yourself. Do it for you.
