'The Corner' Hatchet or Axe
Made in the USA and custom-painted by hand in the Motor City. This is a brand new sport utility 2 lb camp hatchet with an American hickory handle measuring 14 inches long.
Also available in the sport utility Camp Axe.
The Camp Hatchet is NATF and WATL sanctioned.
Before moving to Comerica Park, the Detroit Tigers played at Tiger Stadium from 1912-1999. This historic site sat at the intersection of Michigan Avenue and Trumbull Avenue. It became known as ‘The Corner.’ A great many players of yesteryears graced the field in this stadium. This served as the inspiration that fueled our desire to design this hatchet. While a tribute to our childhood memories watching baseball games at Tiger Stadium, it also serves as a reminder to not forget the people, buildings and memories that came before us.
